The Lake County Chiefs of Police Association (LCCPA) is an organization of law enforcement leadership professionals from throughout Lake County, Illinois. Membership includes leaders and administrators from municipal Police Departments, the county Sheriff's Office, State and Federal agencies, learning institution Police Departments and supporting organizations. The LCCPA's purpose is to advance the science and art of law enforcement administration and crime prevention, to develop and disseminate improved administrative and technical practices and promote their use in police work. We foster cooperation and the exchange of information and experience among law enforcement administrators throughout Lake County, as well as throughout the State of Illinois. Our Association brings about enlistment and training in the law enforcement profession of qualified persons, and encourages adherence of all law enforcement officers to a high professional standard of conduct.
